The kubotai rasbora, Microdevario kubotai, also known as the green neon rasbora, is a small, vibrant freshwater fish native to the rivers and streams of Thailand and Myanmar. Known for its shimmering, neon-green body with a slender shape, this fish typically grows to about 1 inch in length. Kubotai rasboras have an eye-catching metallic glow, making them a beautiful addition to any aquarium.

These peaceful, active schooling fish are ideal for nano or community tanks with other gentle species. They thrive in well-planted tanks with plenty of swimming space, gentle water flow, and temperatures between 72-79°F, with a pH of 6.0-7.5. As omnivores, kubotai rasboras enjoy a varied diet that includes high-quality flakes, micro-pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods like daphnia and baby brine shrimp.

Their radiant color, lively behavior, and suitability for smaller tanks make kubotai rasboras a popular choice for aquarists, especially for those with nano aquariums seeking a touch of natural beauty.
