Albino Cory Catfish

The Albino Cory Catfish (Corydoras aeneus) is a popular and peaceful freshwater fish known for its pale white or pinkish body and red eyes, making it a striking variant of the standard Cory Catfish. Originating from South America, this bottom-dwelling species is known for its gentle nature and hardy adaptability, making it ideal for community aquariums.
 
Albino Cory Catfish thrive in well-planted tanks with soft substrates like sand to protect their sensitive barbels. They prefer water temperatures between 72-78°F (22-26°C) and are best kept in groups, as they are social fish that enjoy the company of their own kind.
 
Their diet consists of sinking pellets, flakes, and occasional live or frozen foods like bloodworms. With proper care, Albino Cory Catfish can live up to 5 years, contributing to a peaceful and active aquarium environment while helping keep the tank clean as efficient scavengers.
